DX4 Studio

Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

This policy explains how DX4 Studio handles personal information when you visit dx4studio.com, send us an enquiry or message us on WhatsApp. We collect only what we need to reply to you and to run our website, and we never sell your information.

Who we are

DX4 Studio is a design and web development studio at 183/1, E.V.R Street, Sadananthapuram, New Perungalathur, Tambaram, Chennai 600063, Tamil Nadu, India. We decide how your information is used, which makes us the “data fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you fill in an enquiry form: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address (where you give one), the service you need and your message.
  • WhatsApp messages. When you message us on WhatsApp: your number, your WhatsApp name and what you write. WhatsApp itself is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.
  • How you use the website. Pages visited, buttons clicked, how far you scroll, your device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and how you reached us, for example from a search or an ad. See analytics below.
  • Server logs. Our web host records technical details such as IP address, browser and time of each request, to keep the site running and secure.

We don’t ask for sensitive information such as financial details, health information or government ID numbers, and we ask you not to send it in a form or message.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote.
  • To carry out the work if you become a client, and to send invoices and project updates.
  • To understand which pages help visitors and which confuse them, so we can improve the site.
  • To measure which of our ads bring enquiries, so we spend less on the ones that don’t.
  • To keep the site secure and to stop spam.

We use your contact details only to talk to you about your enquiry or project. We don’t add you to a newsletter or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.

Analytics, recordings and cookies

The website uses these tools, which place cookies or similar technology in your browser:

  • Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) counts visits, pages and clicks, such as how many people tapped “Chat on WhatsApp”.
  • Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move through pages (clicks, taps and scrolling) as heatmaps and session replays, so we can see where a page is unclear. It is set to hide what you type into form fields.

These tools show us patterns, not who you are. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use Google’s opt-out add-on for Google Analytics. The website still works without them.

Advertising

When we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, we use the Meta Pixel to learn which ads lead to an enquiry or a WhatsApp message, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested. Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account under its own policy. You can control ad preferences in your Meta ad settings.

Who we share it with

We share information only with services that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:

  • our web host, which runs the website and stores its logs;
  • our email provider, which delivers enquiry forms to our inbox;
  • Google, Microsoft and Meta, for the analytics and advertising described above;
  • WhatsApp, when you choose to message us there.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute. We never sell personal information.

Where it’s stored

Some of these services store data on servers outside India. Where they do, they are bound by their own security and privacy commitments, and we use only well-established providers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and messages for as long as we need them to reply, to work with you and to keep proper business and tax records, and then we delete them. Analytics data is kept according to each tool’s retention settings.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete it, where we no longer need it to work with you or to meet a legal duty;
  • stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
  • name someone to act for you if you are unable to.

Email info@dx4studio.com with your request. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on it. If you’re not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we’ll delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
