Is custom software more expensive than a SaaS subscription?
Upfront, yes. Over time, often not. A subscription charges you every year, usually per user, and the price tends to rise at renewal. Custom software costs more to build, then only hosting and support to run. Compare the total over three to five years, not the first month.
How much does custom software cost?
It depends on what the software has to do, how many systems it connects to and who will use it. After a short scoping call we send a fixed-price, itemised proposal. If a ready-made tool would serve you better, we will tell you before quoting.
How long does it take to build?
A focused first version usually takes a few months. We split the work so the most useful part ships first, and your team starts using it while the rest is built.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do. The source code, the database and the accounts it runs on are handed over to you, and ownership is agreed in writing before work starts. You are free to host it anywhere and to have any developer work on it later.
Can you move our data out of the SaaS tool we use today?
Usually, yes. Most tools offer exports or an API. We map your existing records into the new system, test the import, and run both side by side until your team is confident to switch.
Which technology do you build with?
We choose proven, widely used tools so any good developer can maintain the software later. Front ends are usually React or Next.js, with a standard back end and database chosen to fit the job. We explain the choice in plain words before we start.
Do you work with clients outside Chennai and India?
Yes. We meet Chennai clients in person, and work with businesses across India and abroad over video calls. Our studio runs on India Standard Time (GMT+5:30), with a daily written update so you never wait to know where things stand.
What happens after launch?
We offer monthly support covering hosting, backups, security updates, fixes and small improvements. If you would rather run it in-house, we hand over the code, documentation and access, and walk your team through it.
